Welcome to the web site for the Friends of the Aiken Public Library. We are an organization of people who:

• provide financial support to the library
• organize supplemental programs that enrich the library patron’s experience
• assist the library staff in providing the best possible service to the community
• expand, modernize, and improve the library’s collection

For people who love books, love reading, and want to give, Friends of the Aiken Public Library provides a chance to pitch in and help the library meet the needs of the Aiken community.

New Opportunity

Friends of the Aiken Public Library is pleased to announce that we have an arrangement in association with Amazon.com, the largest bookseller in the world, to make a new and exciting technological device, the Kindle, available to library patrons.
